CHITKO is a story about a design that hit the mark on the first try. An apartment with a view of Kyiv's right bank. Our task was to create a functional interior with a bold masculine character. We couldn't resist adding a touch of vintage, stainless steel, yacht-like wood, and ironic art. The apartment's layout, a battle for every centimeter, turned the project into the perfect balance of style and comfort.

We had 48 m² and the challenge to turn it into something more than just a living space. Now, it has everything: a kitchen combining style and functionality, a living room filled with comfort, a bedroom tucked behind a glass partition that preserves a sense of openness and airiness, and playful art that laughs at rules and expectations.

And the round table at the center feels like a spot for negotiations with destiny or a quick cappuccino. Behind the closet doors in the hallway lies a fully equipped laundry area. Glass blocks preserve the light, keeping the living room open and airy. The rug and dark sofa contrast with the soft wall tones, adding depth to the space.

The clients saw the first renders and immediately said, "Chitko!" And we knew—we nailed it. No compromises, no doubts—every detail fine-tuned to the millimeter. Even the bathroom, which went through three rounds of ideas and refinements, now feels like the epitome of interior perfectionism. There’s nothing excessive, yet everything essential is in place. Because when it’s "perfect," there’s simply nothing more to add.

Every zone is meticulously designed, with every meter serving its purpose. Most importantly, the apartment feels much larger than its actual size, thanks to a layout that expands the space with light, glass, and carefully placed accents. The kitchen is like a chef in a tuxedo: restrained but with a twist. Black fronts, wooden cabinets, and a concrete ceiling set a mood that inspires cooking something truly special.

And the bedside table is an absolute hit. Instead of traditional furniture, we used concrete blocks complemented by ceramic tiles. This bold and ironic solution looks like designer furniture straight out of a magazine, yet it’s practical and budget-friendly. Together, it creates an atmosphere of lightness, coziness, and creative freedom. The bedroom seems to whisper: “This is a place for dreams and ideas that can change the world.”

Behind the curtain, like a secret room, lies the wardrobe. Neat shelves, organized sections for hangers. A lightweight textile partition adds a touch of mystery while visually maintaining the sense of space. The bedroom tells stories of style, comfort, and your warm, cozy evenings.

A bed with a high, soft headboard upholstered in green textured fabric that evokes nature even in the concrete jungle. Below, your attention is drawn to a leopard—don’t worry, it’s just a rug, adding a playful touch. The headboard, made from California walnut root veneer, features a texture resembling a map of an imaginary world. This design transforms the bedroom into a true art object.

The bathroom is a project about simplicity and harmony. The ceramic granite shower visually resembles a home spa. Textured tiles, built-in shelves, and a suspended wooden vanity create a balance of aesthetics and functionality. A convenient mirror with a thin frame and integrated lighting adds brightness and a sense of space. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to make the space as comfortable and practical as possible.

The suspended wooden vanity brings warmth and coziness. Despite its minimalism, it is carefully planned to ensure that every item has its place, while keeping the floor clear for easy cleaning. The mirror, with its sleek frame and hidden lighting, completes the overall look, adding light and openness. The small tiles are textured and far from just plain white.

CHITKO is a story about combining style and comfort in every inch. We eagerly await the project’s completion to share photos of the finished space. It’s essential for us to show how ideas born on paper come to life, becoming part of someone’s daily routine.
